Responsibilities Include: Work directly with US based design teams to project manage, source, and provide packaging expertise Collaborate with design on packaging solutions, recommendations, and technical direction Provide sourcing where applicable for target pricing, sample execution and timely deliverables Send all creative hand-offs to factories for sampling and oversee all sample development Provide initial sample reviews and feedback for all sample phases from proto to TOP stage Create packaging put-ups and build an ongoing put-up library for all approved packaging Management of the put-up library Support the growth of new product types and product categories related to packaging Skills and Requirements: Knowledge of the retail environment and various product display types Understanding/experience in packaging related fields: design, engineering, manufacturing Ability to conceptualize and recommend packaging solutions for a wide range of product types Knowledge of packaging safety & security standards Knowledge of renewable and sustainable packaging a plus Ability to be an ‘out of the box’ thinker and problem solve when design challenges arise Excellent communication skills via email and in person, and proficient in English Exceptional project management and reliable follow-up Ability to meet all expectations with minimal oversight Knowledge of 3D design, Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop preferred Sourcing experience preferred
