Senior Consultant, Apps DBA (Hong Kong)

Job Responsibilities:
- Oracle E-Business Suite administration, installation, maintenance, and support
- Design, implementation, support and maintenance of all functions of relational database systems
- Database access, methods and time, device allocations, validations checks, organization, security, documentation, and statistical methodology
- Monitor overall standards and procedures and assist in integrating various systems
- Consult with users, determine requirements, and recommend database establishment and utilization
- Provide database administration for mission-critical custom and packaged database software
- Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications / systems
- Partner with project teams and interact with customers to find solutions for projects and operational issues for existing and proposed databases
- Act as a liaison serving as primary point of contact between application business segments and database administrators
- Demonstrate the knowledge and ability to perform the basic database management skills of database administration, Web connectivity, physical structure, overall architecture, and database analysis
- Provide standardization and consistency across environments

Job Requirements:
- Minimum 5 Years’ experience as an Oracle database engineer/DBA
- Good knowledge of core Oracle databases required (up through 12c)
- Proficient knowledge of Oracle EBS database administration through 12.2.4 required, including concurrent processing, system administration, start up and shut down, RAC, OEM in the EBS space, support of printing including XML, managing of schema statistics, identification of poorly performing queries, performance tuning, RAC refreshes.
- Basic knowledge of Oracle EBS system administration to supervise concurrent requests and collect information on job logs
- Extensive knowledge and solid troubleshooting experience in the following areas; RAC, ASM, Exadata, Performance tuning, Data Guard (Physical and Logical), OEM
- Experience in system integration among Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Fusion would be an advantage.
- Experience in troubleshooting various installation and patching issues
