System monitoring and incident handling
- Follow up server services monitoring to ensure their availability, performance and security level.
- Follow tickets handling process to follow up monitoring alerts, service failure incidents with priority manners.
- Provide technical trouble shooting and resolutions for the monitoring incidents.
- User communication to mitigate service failure, service quality lower down business impact, and improve on efficient resolution implementation.
- Follow change management process for technical changes implementation.
Server backup/restoration
- Monitor backup jobs to ensure the backups success and follow schedule.
- Follow up failure backup jobs,  trouble shoot the root cause and get resolution implemented.
- Backup integrity verification and restoration test to ensure backup data/system recoverable.
- Backup restoration administration per user requests.
- Ensure the backup log and records auditable and process compliance.
User requests fulfilment
-  Follow ticket handling process and priority to handle user requests on server/system administration activities.
-  Log trouble shooting, resolution activities in the ticket system.
-  User interruption to have clear user requests and business purpose.
-  Team collaboration to improve customer experience, knowledge base and internal efficiency.
System patching
- Communicate and transparent patching schedule with system owner.
- Patch test and verification in a controlled environment before production rollout.
- Server owner interruption on patch planning to minimize business impact.
- Follow patch schedule to deploy patches on various system follow agreed plan.
- Monitoring patching status, liaise with technical experts on issue handling, provide technical solution to be implemented within agreed time window.
Keep expertise level up to date
- Assess and develop domain knowledge in line with IS global roadmap.
- Maintain an awareness of new IT technologies.
